What kind of service can I expect? DDHCS aims to offer regular cleaners at regular times on regular days of the week, to suit your requirements.
Our satifaction guarantee says that in the unlikely event you should be unhappy with the level of service you receive (assuming this falls within the agreed terms of job), we will gladly return, free
of charge to complete the job to a satisfactory level.
Are all your staff insured? Yes they are. The cleaner has cover for accidental damage to your property whilst working in
your house. The insurance is subject to an excess, so it is not for a minor breakage.
Are all your staff honest and trustworthy?
We’d certainly like to think so. We always check references. If they are unable to supply verifiable references they are not offered a position.
Will I have a regular cleaner?
We are a family run business so providing you are happy we will do our utmost to keep the same cleaner on a regular
basis. However there are times it is necessary to make changes.
How frequently can I have a cleaner?
We offer services on a daily, weekly, fortnightly or one off basis.
We do not generally offer monthly calls.
Can you provide cleaners for Special Events? Anything that comes under the broad umbrella of cleaning services can generally be arranged.
Always call the office to discuss your requirements.
How often will I be billed? For cleaning work the payment is due on completion of work, unless an account has been agreed
and set up.
What will happen if I don't leave the money for the agreed work?
For all cleaning work the payment is due on completion of the work, unless an account has been agreed and set up.If you have booked a call and the payment is not available our staff are instructed not to complete the job.
However because we have called to carry out the work and you have not complied with our terms we will still bill you for the cost of the clean.
On a few occasions in the past we have completed the work and then hit problems in recovering our fees. Recovering fees can be very time intensive and therefore costly. It is a condition of using any of our services that you agree to our conditions of Service Agreement prior to using any of our services.
Can I pay by Credit Card?
No, but cheques supported by a current bankers card are accepted for payments over £40.

Are there any extra services that you provide? DDHCS offers a wide range of services, for any specific requirements please call the office to
discuss your needs.
Can i cancel a booking at short notice? Yes, however if the cancellation is within 48 hours* of the booking or regular clean start we will
charge you the full amount as if the booking had been completed. * 48 hours notice unless otherwise stated within individual contracts
Will I still have to pay if I forget to leave a key or other appropriate means of entry
to the property to be cleaned?
Yes. It is the clients responsibility to ensure access to the property to be cleaned.
.If we are unable to enter your property to complete the agreed work we will bill you as if we had completed the job. We treat lack of access calls as cancelled calls with inadequate notice.
However most of our clients supply us with keys and alarm codes(if applicable) thus alleviating the need to be present when our staff are at your home. The majority of our clients are more than happy to speak to prospective clients should you wish to talk to someone. Please feel free to ask.
We treat the security of your home as if it was our own.
Will your cleaners respect my privacy and maintain confidentiality? Yes. We regard your privacy as we would our own. It is a stipulation of employment with DDHCS
that confidentially is maintained at all times.
Can I change my days? There is not a yes/no answer to that.
If we have availability within your area on the day that you require then the answer is yes. However, availabilty is a finite commodity and this is not always possible.
We do operate a waiting list system if your choice is currently unavailable.
Will you wash up any dirty dishes etc I leave? I’m afraid the the answer is no. We calculate each job based on the amount of work and
therefore time needed to complete it. Washing up varies in quantity and type so we are unable to calculate this within our price.
Will you clear up any clutter I leave? Because clutter is an unknown quantity we are unable to include it within the pricing of a job.
Our prices are therefore based on clear accress to the area to be cleaned. Therefore we will not tidy up clutter
Do you require a deposit before you'll accept a contract
.On all new cleaning jobs we require a deposit of 50% of the initial clean. Assuming the clean goes ahead this figure is deducted from the total due. However if the contract is cancelled the deposit is non-refundable.
When jobs are booked the time needed and staff are allocated to the contract. Unfortunately some people feel its okay to book then cancel or not allow access. By which time we have already turned down other work that could have filled the slot. Time is money both to us and our staff.
